Not having the finances for a major African school development project, Celeo Arias, CEO & Founder of PAIC, tells Don Witt of The Channel Daily News, a TR publication, that he was at a dead end until he met Ivelin Ivanov, CEO of Telestax. Ivelin introduced Celeo to the RestcommONE technology. Once he found out how easy it was to use, he realized he could complete the school development project in a short period of time. Soon he was introducing the solution to remote regions of Africa. His solution allowed the government to know that the teachers were actually where they were supposed to be and that they have the material ready for the day’s lesson. For those that travel many miles by foot to attend class, this application made sure that the teachers were there and ready to teach. The solution has been very successful and continues to gain momentum in the many new regions of the continent. The solution required: Identity verification Delivery (Teacher) Security These characteristics also apply to financial transactions that need to take place in remote areas. Since there are very few credit card machines in remote areas of Africa, and there are mobile phones in abundance, the mobile phone was used in the creation of the solution. It helped provide the identity verification, Delivery of the funds (instead of a teacher) and it was done securely. This minimized the problems of delivery trucks returning with cash and being robbed. Now, through the use of the mobile phone, they are able to process transactions immediately while reducing the risk of robbery. RestcommONE is an enabling technology. It is clear from this example, that a serious educational issue for the government was solved and a financial problem was solved through the use of a trustworthy solution created by a visionary with enabling technology.
