The Competitive Carriers Association Advocates for Its Members

In this podcast Steven Berry, President & CEO of the Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) explains how the CCA advocates for its members with the FCC and Capitol Hill. This includes addressing policies that will allow carriers to remain competitive and provide services to all markets. He highlights the importance of the Universal Service Fund and Mobility Fund in relation to wireless carrier service in rural areas. Steven also talks about Business Data Services (BDS), roaming relationships and the road to 5G. The CCA has an innovative Industry Development Program that allows members to work out issues, such as roaming coverage, with CCA staff and other carrier members.
